Don't fall behind in your scrapbooking

Here is a 2 page layout for Fall. This is what we are doing in this month's scrapbook class. It is so easy to put these pages together with all of the co-ordinating papers, stamps and embellishments from Stampin' Up! My scrapbook classes are the 3rd Thursday of each month, and all supplies are included in the $10.00 cost.

Some Christmas cards using Stampin' Up! stamps, cardstock and designer series paper. They co-ordinate so nicely together. It's hard to get into the Christmas spirit when it's so nice outside, but I must get some made for consignment at Vintage petals Tea House.

Here are some box sets that I had an order for. Each box comes with 6 matching all occasion cards. These are great gift sets or just give the cards and keep the box for yourself.

Fall cards

It's so cold outside and all the leaves are changing, so I decided to create something that had a feel of fall to it. Love the rich colours of Stampin' Up! cardstock.

Look Whoooo's 40

One of my very close girlfriends just turned the big 40. So I had to make her this whimsical little card with the 2 Step Owl Punch by Stampin' Up! There are so many different ways to use this little owl. Expect to see him again on many of my cards.

Home Decor

Do you know what I love most about creating with paper? The colours.....so many shades, tones and patterns there is an endless supply. It is easy to match paper creations to any decor. Here is a Tissue Box cover that is done in fall colours, but could be adapted to any colour combo that you need. You could have a different one for each season of the year.
I will be teaching a seniors class how to complete this tissue box cover.

Baby Stationary

Here are some cards that I made for a friend who will soon be welcoming an addition to her family. The first one is a simple thank you card that is blank inside. The second is an announcement card. Inside are all the particulars about the new addition. I sell these individually or in sets of 10. They can be done in either blue, pink or yellow colours. What a nice way to celebrate the birth of a baby.

Welcome

A special welcome to all of you checking out my blog for the first time. I hope that you can tell from this site that I love what I do. I have to admit that I have not posted here for awhile because I have been enjoying my summer. I have not stopped creating however, I have been selling my cards and such at a local farmers market. But alas the summer is coming to an end, and now it's time to rev up the gears and get creating.

My monthly card and scrapbook classes will begin again in September. The card class is every 3rd Wednesday of the month and the scrapbook class is every 3rd Thursday of the month.
Both classes cost $10.00 and all materials are provided for you.

If you have never taken a class......what's stopping you.?
My classes are small so that intimate instruction can be given, so even if you have never done anything like this before you will be guided all the way.
My classes are fun, always lots of laughs and it's a great way to detox from our always to busy of a life.
My classes are inexpensive, where else can you go out for an evening, have snacks and a drink, have a fun time with others like you and come home with a beautiful creation that you can keep or give away for only $10.00.

Perhaps you are already an experienced paper crafter. Well, I also have something for you.
PMS Night (Pizza, Music and Stamping) Cost is $5.00 and is the 3rd Friday of every month.
A night to come a complete those projects that you have on the go or try something new.
But who wants to get out all the stuff, organize it and then have to put it all away when you're done. I DO.
You come to my house work on your projects using top quality stamps, inks, and tools, have some pizza, listen to some music, then when you're done you just walk away NO CLEAN UP!

If you are interested in attending one of my classes or PMS Night post a comment with your name, number and email address and I will be glad to contact you and give you instructions on how to get to my home. I am located about 10 minutes north of St. Albert, Alberta. I screen all of my posts and will not make them visible to other viewers.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Drawer Boxes

I love these boxes. They are so simple to make and don't require a lot of paper. I like that they hold full size cards too. You can fit ten (with envelopes) in a box. Great gift for someone. I think these will be a class that I will do in the fall, maybe a Christmas set.

Cards For The Guys

These cards will be for my husband. His birthday is this weekend and of course Father's Day is coming next month.

One Final Mother's Day Card

This is the card that I will be giving my mom. Just love this technique of stamping on dark cardstock with white craft ink, then colouring with watercolour pencils and finally, highlighting with the white gel pen.

Mother's Day Card and Purse

This is the card and purse that we will be making at a class on April 7th. I love the colour combination of purple and yellow.

Purse Tote

I made this purse tote from a pattern that I purchased from Becky Roberts. It is a lot bigger than I expected. It is big enough to hold some cards and envelopes. It would make a great Mother's Day or birthday gift.

March madness

I've started to give some monthly scrapbook page classes in my home. These are the layouts that I came up with for Feb and March. I will be doing an Easter set in April. I charge $10 for the evening and all materials are supplied.

Thinking Spring

I was working on some Easter cards today. The window was open and the sun was shining, the birds were singing. Spring is on its way. In the Three Little Words card I wrote on the inside....He Has Risen.

I made this card for a girlfriend, whose parents are celebrating their 40th Anniversary. I'm not a purple kind of gal, but I like how this one turned out.
