Hobby time results

I made these two cards during the last Hobby Time. We had a good time experimenting with the Big Shot from Stampin' Up!
I think I will give the yellow rose one to my mom for Mother's Day.

Thank you

I started to make an Easter Card but changed my mind. I thought this would make a cute Thank You card. I brayered three inks onto a glossy cardstock. Then I embossed the Upsy Daisy stamp with white embossing powder. I then coloured the embossed section with pastel chalks.

Goddaughters Birthday Card

I created this card for my Goddaughters 10th Birthday. It was really simple and only took me about 20 min to create. My Goddaughter is very creative, she can create wonderful things out of the most basic items. "She's a mini me!!!"

Frolicking Frogs

The Minister at my Church wanted some frog themed cards. She sends them out to those needing a special pick me up. She has an acronym for the word frog. I need to practice my colouring, but I was pleased at how these turned out.

Celebrate

I was trying to create a multi purpose card, but I'm not happy with the color combo. It looks too much like a Christmas card. I think if I change the red to pink or yellow it will look much better.

I used the Ski Slope DP, Fresh cuts stamps (111634), Wonderful Words stamp set (103875, retired) and the Spring Bouquet Flower Punch (106522, retired)

Monthly Hobby Time

I will be hosting a monthly time when friends and fellow crafters can come to my house and use my tools, inks, punches and such to make cards, scrapbooks, or paper projects. There will be no formal instruction, but always informal creative brainstorming. There will be a small fee to cover my costs and participants need to bring there own paper, stickers and embellishments. I hope that this becomes a time for socialization and creative release for all who participate.
Check my Upcoming Stampin' Up! events for the next class date.

It All Begins Now

Welcome to my blog. I'm excited to begin this new adventure.

I have recently listened to my creative soul and became an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I have a great passion for card and paper craft making, but I love even more to be able to share that passion with others who just need some guidance to find their creative soul.

I am 39 yrs old, married to a wonderful man and I have two very special boys aged 11 and 13. I work full time in retail and volunteer as a Youth Group leader with my church. Needless to say that I am very busy most days, but I believe that we need to do things that are important for us to stay mentally and physically sound, so this will be my sanity outlet.

I look forward to posting pictures and info about projects, classes and events that I create. I also look forward to hearing from others who have the same passion and who can guide and inspire me. Now to get to work.
